In Home Engagement Session
I feel like a lot of my blog posts start this way buuuut I connected with Christine via Instagram and she asked if I was able to do her and her fiancé’s engagement photos and it turns out, funny enough, I actually had photographer cam’s cousin and husband (Jessica + Andrew, if you remember that blog from a while back) – Small world hey!!
Christine and Cam have known each other for 8 years and they actually officially met on the ETS. Christine would usually get on the bus first and would save a spot for cam, in hopes he would take it and sit by her and one day, her wish cam true. They spent a few rides flirting and chatting and he eventually asked for her number and like they say…the rest is history.
They enjoy the outdoors and their house is filled with pictures of them camping, hiking and canoeing in the summer months and snowboarding in the winter time. They love to travel and constantly seek new adventures in different places. They are a really active and busy couple, to say they just sit and watch T.V is a rare occasion, you can find them doing jigsaw puzzles, playing ping pong, working out and going for walks with their sweet wiener dog, Oscar. They both love to listen to music and jamming out to Cam’s wicked old record collection that was passed down to him by his father.
Our session was a lot of fun, not to toot my own horn but I think we all had such a blast that it didn’t really feel like it was a session, more so just a couple of friends hanging out listening to some tunes, having a drink, playing chase and taking the occasional photograph. When I get to do sessions like this, it truly feels my heart with such joy, I love connecting with likeminded people who are down to earth and down to basically do anything…like jump up and down on the bed and attempt high fives.
Big thanks to these two for allowing me into their beautiful home, for their endless amount of positive energy and sweet music collection!
